Choosing a Focused Topic

Make sure your topic meets the assignment requirements. Choose a topic that is interesting to you. Brainstorm ideas while you are in class. Review your class notes and readings for ideas. If you are unsure, ask your professor for feedback.

Your topic should be broad enough that you should be able to find information. It should be narrow enough to focus on one aspect of your topic.
